Study Information
- Survey of employees in households, with a telephone, in Germany, which were at least 18 years old.
- The selection of respondents was based on a multistage random selection (random selection of telephone numbers from each province and city size, and then a random selection of the target person in the household using the next-birthday method).
- The survey was conducted using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI).
- The fieldwork of the survey was between 25thOctober and 18thNovember 2010. A total of 1920 employees were interviewed.
- Small variations of the target structure by weighting the characteristics of sex, age, employment status, employment type and state (based on Federal Statistical Office) were compensated.
- The results are representative of the over 18 year old workforce in Germany.

Befragung unter Arbeitnehmer/innen in Telefonhaushalten in Deutschland,
die mindestens 18 Jahre alt waren.
Die Auswahl der Befragten erfolgte nach einem mehrstufigen Zufallsprinzip
(zufällige Auswahl von Telefonnummern pro Bundesland und Ortsgröße,
zufällige Auswahl der Zielperson im Haushalt mittels Next-Birthday-Verfahren).
Die Befragung erfolgte mittels computergestützter Telefoninterviews (CATI).
Die Feldzeit der Befragung lag zwischen dem 25. Oktober und 18.
November 2010.
Insgesamt wurden 1.920 Arbeitnehmer/innen befragt.
Geringe Abweichungen der Soll-Struktur wurden durch die Gewichtung der
Merkmale Geschlecht, Alter, Berufsstatus, Beschäftigungsart und Bundesland
(Basis: Statistisches Bundesamt) ausgeglichen.
Die vorliegenden Ergebnisse sind repräsentativ für die Arbeitnehmerschaft in
Deutschland ab 18 Jahre.
