Personal Coaching

The coaching philosophy of the Business Performance Academy is based on the belief that the coachee himself has all the resources for his future development.

Knowledge and experiences, connected with the emotions of the coachee, are the key for the development of renewed and desired behavior.
Furthermore openness, focus and belief in success are the basis of a successful coach-coachee relationship.

Method

Centered on the above mentioned philosophy, the method is based on four pillars: creating an atmosphere of trust, asking Socratic questions, provoking positively and a goal- oriented approach.

  • The coach creates an atmosphere of trust from the inner attitude of unconditional positive respect for the coachee  as a person. Equally crucial are the basic values such as reliability, confidentiality and the lifespan commitments.
  • Socratic questions are questions to bring about the coachee's self-image.
  • Positive provocation leads the coachee to the limits of his comfort zone. The coach will  ask the coachee to reflect on his behavior. At this point the method is always secured by the unconditional positive regard of the coach.
  • Goal and success orientation, the coach monitors by finding and setting goals and the development of milestones and checkpoints.

Coaching approach

The coaching approach is based on the so called EVENT-model

  • Evaluation: Determination and evaluation of the own talents and personal situation.
  • Validation: Definition and acknowledgment of personalized goals.
  • Commitment: Commitment to consultation and mutual commitment of coach and coachee.
  • Needs: Constructing of concrete milestones on the way to the goals to plan in-between control.
  • Transfer: Definition and implementation a personal development plan.

The number of coaching sessions is always tailored to  the customer needs and expectations.
